About the Dinner Plain Community Association

Dinner Plain Residents and Business Operators Society Inc T/A Dinner Plain Community Association was incorporated in February 2010 under the Victorian Associations Incorporation Act (1981) as amended in the Association Incorporation Reform Act 2012.

Updated Rules of the Association were adopted in 2013 and 2023.

The purposes of the Association are:

• To work for the benefit of the residents of Dinner Plain.
• To encourage participation in the community.
• To provide a forum to exchange ideas and information.
• To promote the businesses of Dinner Plain.
• To create and promote any community activities.

Alpine Shire Council manages the alpine village of Dinner Plain, providing a range of services for residents, ratepayers and visitors.

Dinner Plain Community Association has been tasked to be the point of contact between the community and Alpine Shire Council.
